When it comes to finding skincare products, I am always looking for the next great thing. This has definitely made my top 5 list! This skincare system is absolutely amazing. It feels fantastic when using it, it does not feel cheap and flimsy, and it works great! 

I had the opportunity to review this product in exchange for an honest review, and boy, am I glad I got to! When this arrived I tried using some of the cheap dollar store batteries (brand new, never used) but they would not let the wand come on. So I bought some batteries from Energizer, and those worked. 

I think you have to use good batteries in this so that you get the full effects from it. It comes with the wand, 2 cleansing brushes, one for your face and one for your body, a lotion sponge, and a pumice stone. They all attach easily, and do not fall off while using them. 

The brushes, you might assume would be harsh but they are very soft and almost tickle your skin when using them. The pumice stone got my feet feeling smooth again, and the moisturizing sponge helped push the lotion into my skin better than I imagined. Overall, I think this is a great, and cost efficient way to get professional results right at home.

First off, I took at chance on this product because the reviews were all for the older version so I wasn't sure how the new version would be by comparison. I hate when sellers list a new product in place of the old one because the reviews are very misleading if you aren't paying attention. So to be clear the new version is the one listed, not the one in most of the reviews with multiple attachments. So, buyer beware if you'r looking for variable attachments.

This version only comes with 1 kind of attachment (2 soft bristle face brushes). So lets start with those. When I first felt them I was unsure of how I felt about them. I feared they wouldn't be 'rough' enough to actually clean my face at all or if they would be more like crash wash noodles just rubbing around on my face! They're VERY soft and long. Imagine if someone took a baby hairbrush and made it into face wash brushes. That's how soft. Skeptical I used it and LOVED IT. It felt amazing on my face, and was actually very relaxing! I've never enjoyed washing my face before, but now I look forward to it! The bristles hold up pretty well, feel great and are amazing for sensitive skin.

If you're looking for exfoliating you won't get it with these bristles, but maybe if you used an exfoliating face wash it would work. The only downside to the bristles is that they hold a lot of water. If you run this under water then put it against your face and turn it on, it's going to shoot water everywhere! (Ironically like the picture it advertises!) You really need to wet the brush, shake off or squeeze out some water, then add your face wash. It's very easy to leave the bristles too wet and make water drip down your face and all over the counter. So just be weary about not turning the brush on when the bristles are saturated.

The other thing I don't like is that the head is kind of wobbly. It tilts back and fourth on the device and I'm not sure if this was intended? I prefer a brush head to be a bit more ridged but so far as I can tell this doesn't impact performance at all. Also in the instructions the manual says if the devices is making excessive noise, the head isn't on tight and needs to be adjusted. After a couple uses my brush started making low pitched 'squeaking' and 'buzzing'. This was rather unwelcome to my new found relaxing facial time! I messed with the brush for awhile and resolved that the brush attachment wasn't making the noise, but something inside was. After a rather unceremonious smack to the back of the device the sounds resolved (for now anyway).

Another minor issue I have is the lights around the button. They light up half or the whole ring around the button depending on the speed level you use. They look very lovely, but they're very bright when they're right in front of your eyes while you scrub your forehead.

The last thing that bothers me is entirely my fault. I bought this device in part because of the nice stand that was pictured. I didn't read the disclaimer that said it was not included. Bummer. Worst of all you cannot purchase the stand AT ALL. I looks everywhere and can't find where I can buy the stand. That was a huge disappointment. Here I have this lovely face cleansing system and my only open for storage is to leave it wet on the countertop. This is HORRIBLE for people with sensitive skin. I go through all he trouble of drying the brush and washing it with an antibacterial wash only to let it sit on the countertop.

I plan to contact the seller to see if I can buy a stand for my device.

Overall, I love the unit despite its flaws. I wish it didn't squeak and rattle from time to time, I wish the lights weren't quite so bright in my face, and I wish the head was more study but these do not effect the effectiveness of the device. The brush feels great, the speed settings are nice, it's sleek and does a great job washing my face without irritating my skin. When the brushes go I'll definitely buy replacements.

I have been dying to try a microdermabrasion/ cleansing system but have been putting it off because I just couldn't justify spending an arm and a leg to get a system that would work for me. I have tried LAVO's products before in the past so when I saw they came out with this product, I couldn't wait to give it a try.

First of all, the shipping was incredibly fast! It arrived exactly when it said it would and it was exactly as described. This kit includes the giro cleansing system, a small brush, a large brush, pumice, and a sponge. The giro system itself is compact and fits very nicely in your hand. It is very durable and waterproof which makes it perfect for use in the shower. I love the sleek and stylish design and the fact that it is cordless makes it even better. *Tip: make sure you have 4 AA batteries on hand, I rushed to the store to buy some because I couldn't wait to use this system.

To use this system you simply have to slide off the battery cap (it can be a bit stubborn as it is tightly fitted for waterproofing), put in 4 AA batteries, replace the battery cap, and choose a brush to use. I used the small brush first which is the perfect size and shape for your face. The bristles are extremely soft and gentle, making this brush really relaxing and gentle on your skin. I have very sensitive skin so I was a little worried at first but the system applies just the right amount of pressure at the perfect speed. I used pure rose water for my first use but plan on using a cleanser next time but it exfoliated my skin, opened up my pores, and even got rid of my stubborn blackheads on my chin and nose. This left my skin looking vibrant and feeling smooth.

The next brush I used was the sponge. It is just like a makeup sponge and I used it to massage in my facial moisturizer. It helped evenly distribute my moisturizer and it absorbed into my skin even quicker than when I just use my fingertips. The sponge is also very fine and soft, making it feel luxurious as it smoothed in my moisturizer. My skin tone looked a lot clearer, even, and my blotchiness and redness virtually disappeared.

The large brush is the perfect size to use on the rest of your body. It is very similar to the small brush (in regards to the bristles and softness) but covers a larger surface area. I used this brush on my boyfriend to do his back as he tends to get really dry skin. I got the brush wet and used some pure rose water and simply let the brush do the rest. I noticed when I moved the system in the opposite direction the brush was moving, it opened up his pores quicker and got rid of the black heads on his back. This brush is perfect for exfoliating and got rid of his stubborn dry patches of skin in a breeze.

Last, but certainly not least, is the pumice brush. It isn't really a brush but is a nice sized pumice stone that really helps get rid of callouses and dead skin on the soles of the feet. Just like using any other pumice stone, you want to let your feet soak to loosen up of the skin to make the skin removal a lot easier and less painful. The system really helps you apply the correct amount of pressure and it got rid of my callouses a lot quicker than using a traditional stone.

All in all, I am very pleased with this system. I am already talking about buying replacement brushes and even buying a whole other system for my mother. I fell in love with this system the moment I saw the system. It is very stylish and easy to use. I feel like I have a spa in my home now and it leaves my skin looking/ feeling healthier and my skin tone looks more even without having redness. I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

To be fair, my go-to device is a Clarisonic, and has been for several years now. When I received the offer to try the lavo system, I jumped on it, as this would give me a second cleaning system to take with me to the gym. I like that the device comes with a brush head of pumice, & a sponge. This gives you several options to add to your beauty regimen. What I like less, is that this system requires outside batteries. The brush head is much smaller, and moves in a much different fashion in the Clarisonic. It definitely rotates around and kind of wobbles. The cleaning action does seem decent, and tickles slightly. I actually do like the way it feels. I am a little bit worried that there do not seem to be any replacement heads available, as I am sure this will come up eventually. However, for now, the lavo chiro will be part of my gym cleansing routine, and my skin is very happy for it. I do prefer the way the Clarisonic works, because my skin feels a bit cleaner to me, personally. However, comparing the prices, the lavo system works very well for its class. You get 7 different heads to use with this cleaner. Each head has a different job that it does:

Question: Do the heads have the clenser on them already or are they just brushes and pads?
Answer: It comes with just the brushes and pads you see in the picture. No added cleansers. And personally I only use the brush, the rest of the pads and roller are very cheap and flimsy.

I just got this great little facial brush from Pixnor. This is a really cool little product. You get the base that is powered by two AA batteries (not included). You have two speed settings with this one. It runs really well and has a good amount of power. You also get seven different attachments that you can use for various facial treatments.
